Support for women and girls

Our MP, Sir Julian Smith, has written to publicise the comprehensive directory of support services for women and girls across York and North Yorkshire, published by Jo Coles, Deputy Mayor for Policing, Fire, and Crime.

This directory brings together gender-specific and trauma-informed services for those affected by violence, exploitation, and crime. It includes support for mental health, substance misuse, housing, and financial advice. Access to these services does not require a connected police report. Many of these services are also available to men and boys.
